Malang, 7 February 2023 - The Internal Quality Assurance Agency (BPMI) of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) was visited by the Quality Assurance Unit (SPM) of Adhi Tama Surabaya Institute (ITATS) to carry out a comparative study held at One Day Service (ODS), University of Muhammadiyah Malang on Tuesday (07/02/2023). The implementation of this comparative study was carried out with the aim that Adhi Tama Surabaya Institute of Quality Assurance Unit could study and learn about internal quality assurance at University of Muhammadiyah Malang which has a better campus quality than ITATS, as evidenced by the quality of UMM which has been accredited Superior.
The comparative study was started with remarks by the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at Adhi Tama Surabaya Institute, Ir. Esty Poedijioetami, M.T., who conveyed the intent and purpose of carrying out the ITATS comparative study to UMM, as well as introduced 5 participants from ITATS, namely Isa Albanna, S.Si., M.Si., as Deputy Head of SPM, Theresia Maria Chandra Agusdini, S.T. , M.T., as the Audit Section, Hendro Nugroho, S.T., M.Kom., as the Monev and P2AI section, Maftahatul Hakimah, S.Si., M.Si., as the Data and Documentation section, also Yoga Pria Hadi, S.ST.. Then, the activity continued with the introduction of BPMI members as well as presentation of material related to SPMI UMM Management, which included the BPMI organs which were located directly under the Rector, by Mr. Rofieq, as the Head of BPMI.
In the discussion session, material was explained regarding governance of UMM, BPMI, UPPS, and Study Programs, as well as standard development, implementation of SPMI, PPEPP, also the implementation flow/mechanism along with an overview of AMI implementation, as well as a survey of satisfaction levels and utilization of SIM SPMI version 2.0, also executors monitoring and evaluation and activity and financial audits. Then proceed with practice which includes the implementation of independent monitoring and evaluation as well as AMI for UPPS, Prodi, and OTK as an effort to build awareness and a culture of quality.
