Malang, 22 December 2022 - The Internal Quality Assurance Agency (BPMI) of University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) welcomed the arrival of the Teacher Training and Education College (STKIP) of the Republic of Indonesia Teachers Association (PGRI) Jombang in the context of carrying out a comparative study which was held on Thursday (22/12/22) at University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The background of this comparative study is the plan to transform STKIP PGRI Jombang into a university, which will be realized in the future. So that STKIP PGRI Jombang visited UMM to learn about PPEPP and asked for direction as well as evaluation, especially in control and quality improvement section.
The activities of benchmarking begins with remarks from Dr. Sulistyaningsih, as the secretary of BPMI UMM, who welcomed STKIP PGRI Jombang, as well as conveyed a series of agendas that would take place. "Thank you to STKIP PGRI Jombang for entrusting UMM to share their knowledge in improving university quality. We, as BPMI UMM, warmly welcome this arrival. Hopefully with this benchmarking activity, the process of changing STKIP into a university can be carried out well and smoothly," said the Secretary of BPMI UMM. Then, it was followed by conveying the intention of the presence of STKIP PGRI Jombang to UMM, which was presented by Mrs. Nahlia Rakhmawati, M.Si..
The next activities were the delivery of material related to UMM quality assurance, which was delivered by Dr. Hari Windu Asrini, M.Si.. “Quality assurance that is carried out, must be supported by quality documents, policies, manual standards and formular, as well as the PPEPP cycle. In addition, it must also be ensured that your place have a quality assurance agency, such as UMM which has BPMI, as well as quality implementing agencies, UPPS, and study programs, as well as quality assurance implementing agencies, independent monitoring and evaluation, also AMI.
